On The First Post

The first post in a new blog, particularly one that has a theme, is always a bit awkward. You must a)presume there is in fact an audience for what you plan on blogging, and b) presume that you have the wherewithal and self-discipline to post coherently and thoughtfully about that theme without getting blatantly off topic. This blog's theme is "On blank", or my musings on topics that I think about from day to day. This will not be a random posting blog - you can bet that most of these writings have been written and edited and pondered pre-posting. Expect updates once per week, maybe slightly more frequently.
